Canada Day in Okanagan-Coquihalla was fun, busy and eventful. MP Stockwell Day pedalled his way through numerous parades in Penticton, Summerland, Westside and Peachland on an eco-friendly cycle built for 6 with help from Valorie and a few grandkids.

More than 400 people were fed burgers and dogs at the annual MP’s BBQ which is part of Westside Daze in one of BC’s newest Municipalities.

As usual, Canada Day was a toasty 30+ degrees in most of the riding, and there was a lot of jumping in the lake going on all day.
